Turri renews the Flagship Store in Milan with a project by Giuseppe Viganò 23.09.2021

Less is more. In Italy, as in the rest of the world, the homes of today are contemporary and minimal.  Turri has been following this trend for some years, offering collections which fully reflect this trend.

Never abandoning the value and the extraordinary quality of precious materials and craftsmanship, respectful of an almost century-old tradition, the company has surrounded itself with international designers, entrusting them with the task of creating pieces of furniture that have become icons of a new way of experiencing contemporaneity, beauty and luxury.

Following the trend and in the occasion of the recent Supersalone and the Fuorisalone in Milan, Turri renewed its’ Flagship Store in Via Borgospesso 11 with the collaboration of Giuseppe Viganò: the designer’s project, stylistically and conceptually consistent with that of the collections created for the company, made it possible to recreate a real “Turri new home”, in the name of the most contemporary trends.

Showcase for all the novelties of 2021, the Flagship Store welcomes visitors in a clear, translucent, bright space, where all the furniture elements can be fully admired, as they filter through a wavy boiserie, designed ad hoc by the studio Viganò. The atmosphere is therefore harmonious, relaxing, and the tangible feeling of well-being is emphasized by the choice of materials, finishes and colours of the furniture: soft leathers and fabrics in predominantly neutral tones, as if to emphasize the lines of the design and timeless elegance.

At the entrance, the display is dedicated to the most recent collections: on one side, the living area featuring the Blues sofa in the fixed version, on the other the Pinnacle dining area, complete with table, chairs, sideboard and vitrine; for these elements, grey walnut wood was chosen – with the sole exception of the vitrine, in wengé-stained wood – and inserts in linen-colored leather. The table top, in gold Calacatta marble, helps to create chromatic harmony throughout the environment.

Moving towards the interior of the space, as in a real path, the Blues collection returns also in the sleeping area with the new bed and the coordinated bedside tables, dressing table and chest of drawers. The coffee tables of the collection are combined with the modular sofa and the Soul swivel armchair, which furnish a second adjacent living area in which a wall cladding of panels with different sizes and shapes enhances the architecture of the room thanks to the use of different finishes. The Soul sofa has a leather upholstered back (cement grey for the sofa and pomegranate red for the armchair) while the seat and loose pillows are in fabric.

In the lower floor, the engaging experience in the Turri home continues with new collections and additional pieces. Among the Milano collection, dedicated to the sleeping area and the dining area, the new round table stands out, with a top in gold Calacatta marble, structure in light dove lacquered wood and details in sky-colored leather and brushed nickel metal.

Again, the dining elements of the Zenit collection can be found, proposed in warm shades of grey. Finally, a pair of Harp armchairs, with ash-colored walnut structure, the Blossom sofa and armchairs – for which a blue leather was chosen on the outside, while a cement-colored fabric for the interior – and the Vision and Zero coffee tables, which together with the Zenit TV cabinet complete a living room with a timeless style.

An important renewal, therefore, perfectly consistent with that of the company’s style.
