Turri in India 11.11.2025
Between Ahmedabad and Kolkata, with new spaces showcasing modern Italian luxury
Turri’s expansion in India is being consolidated through a network of collaborations with local retailers and design studios.
Through these partnerships, the Italian company fosters a dialogue between cultures, styles, and artisanal know-how, continuing to reinterpret luxury with a sophisticated aesthetic. Through continuous exchange and mutual trust, local dealers become genuine design partners with whom Turri shares values, sensibilities, and visions.
From this concept of living, one that unites tradition and modernity, identity and openness, two new projects have been developed to illustrate Turri’s growth in the country: the Show Apartment in Ahmedabad, created in partnership with Dizain Interni, and the Connected Harmony residence in Kolkata, designed in collaboration with Light Krafs.
Lo Show Apartment in Ahmedabad
Located on Ambli Road, one of Gujarat’s residential areas, the project was carried out in collaboration with local partner Dizain Interni.
On the fourth floor of the Madhav Group’s Madhav Oeuvre 3 complex and covering an area of over 700 m2, this Show Apartment represents a strategic step in building Turri’s presence in India.
Conceived as a living showcase, the apartment conveys the essence of Turri’s modern luxury. In the bedroom, the bed and bedside tables from the Soul collection, designed by Giuseppe Viganò, immediately convey a feeling of relaxation and well-being.
In the living room, the modular sofa and armchairs from Matteo Nunziati’s Net collection are accompanied by Giuseppe Viganò’s Blues coffee tables, presented in round and rectangular versions. Behind the sofa, the Pinnacle dining table and chairs by Huang Quan convey the perfect balance between the almost austere walnut wood and the softer leather.
The choice of materials and the brand’s unmistakable craftsmanship translate Turri’s aesthetic philosophy into a complete living experience.
Connected Harmony in Kolkata
An approach that finds continuity in Connected Harmony project: a two-storey apartment in Kolkata designed by Abin Design Studio for the local dealer Light Krafts.
This residence, created by combining two individual units and conceived to accommodate several generations of the same family, features interiors shaped by a dialogue between international excellence and high-quality brands.
Balancing heritage and modern luxury, Turri has brought its recognisable design language into the rooms through furnishings that harmonise proportions, materials and a refined aesthetic.
At the heart of the apartment opens a large double-height void — a vertical cut that visually connects the two floors. From the expansive windows, natural light filters through at different times of the day, highlighting the living area.
Here, the Azul sofa designed by Paola Navone for Turri — hand-knotted in an intense and refined lapis lazuli blue velvet — together with the Soul armchairs by Giuseppe Viganò, converse with the Roma chairs by Monica Armani, in their lighter shade.
Carefully chosen for both shared and private areas, Turri’s pieces express the idea of home as a space of togetherness, rootedness and continuity, accompanying the many moments of domestic life.
Each piece, with its own character, helps define the soul of the project — a home born from the desire to preserve a strong sense of identity shaped by family memory.
Together, the Ahmedabad and Kolkata projects reflect Turri’s ongoing story: one told through Italian craftsmanship and savoir-faire, nurtured over a century and intertwined with the cultures and traditions of each new setting.
