Scribe, Margot Relax, Globe: new furnishings by Alivar 21.03.2018

Preview Salone del Mobile 2018

A design that has been borrowed from Colonial styling – where the charming harmony between European classicism and Oriental exoticism predominates shapes and colours – constitutes the distinguishing trait of the new products in Alivar’s Home Project collection designed by Giuseppe Bavuso. The new solutions, which are to be presented during the 57th edition of the Salone del Mobile, are the result of sophisticated workmanship and authentic painstaking care for details, which have always been two distinguishing features underpinning the design philosophy of Alivar.

A mixture between a practical desk to make notes or write a travel journal and an elegant make-up console, Scribe consists of a storage compartment incorporated into the leather- upholstered top, and other accessories, such as a mirror and a small shelf to organise your stationery or other small items. Scribe is available with an oak-wood or walnut-wood frame. Perfectly balanced between past and contemporary present, the new Margot Relax seat is capable of bringing back to life sophisticated atmospheres from the past thanks to the vintage touch that distinguishes its silhouettes and colours. Several materials make up this interior décor item with timeless charm: from the warmth of oak- or walnut-wood, to the steel body, which is elegantly enveloped by leather upholstery with the addition of a polyurethane foam insert.

Last but by no means least, Globe is a dining table that revives Italian cabinet-making tradition through the use of wood implemented in the frame – either walnut-wood or oak- wood – that warms and embraces the natural beauty of marble making up the top. The Globe table top is also available in glass or in the special ‘Galestro terracotta’ lacquered finish. These three new products are ideal for furnishing both domestic and contract settings with stylish minimalism.
