Alivar’s new releases at the 2017 Salone del Mobile 19.04.2017

To celebrate the 56th edition of the Salone del Mobile, Alivar has introduced new products and accessories characterised by the exclusive use of precious materials, all with an extraordinary design – meticulous in every detail – and with 100% Italian quality craftsmanship which has always accompanied Alivar on its journey of excellence throughout Italy and the rest of the world.

For the living area, Alivar proposes its Cyclos tables which, thanks to the choice of materials and different sizes available, are able to fit perfectly in any home, no matter how different in terms of style and layout. The Cyclos structure in painted solid ash or in solid national walnut wood, wraps itself around and brings warmth to the top – made from marble or tempered smoked glass – and really plays the leading role in this object of design, as it is not only true to its function, but, above all, really stands out for its great character.

The Margot lounge chair, on the other hand, invites you to experience total comfort thanks to the feather padding of its seat, available in either leather or fabric, satisfying interior design requirements in both the domestic and contract sphere. Margot combines the warmth of wood – making up the ‘body’ of the chair – with a steel structure that is elegantly hidden by a leather cover, complete with a polyurethane rubber insert. In addition to the armchair, Margot is also available as an ottoman.

As the name suggests, Globe offers all the benefits of a round table – no sharp corners and a ‘democratisation’ of conversation between diners. Globe is a particularly decorative piece of furniture thanks to the precious materials used to make its table top, with the choice of either elegant marble or wonderfully light smoked glass. What’s more, Globe is also available with ‘Lazy Susan’, the practical swivel tray positioned in the centre of the table, allowing diners to reach the dishes being served extremely easily.

For the living area, Alivar also proposes the sophisticated Amanda chair, available either with or without armrests. Amanda is all about simple and neat design that appeals to the taste and style of lovers of basic yet versatile furniture that can easily be included in any setting. The chair legs are made from solid national walnut wood or painted solid ash, whereas the Polimex frame is covered in polyurethane foam with a layer of memory foam and a polyester fibre lining. Amanda changes its ‘clothes’ depending on different preferences and requirements, with either a leather or fabric cover available.

Moving away from the living area, to immerse ourselves in the intimacy of the bedroom, Alivar presents Bali bed which, with its soft and rounded lines, almost appears to embrace its surroundings, creating a sense of pleasurable comfort and sophisticated well-being. The wooden headboard, padded with polyurethane foam and lined with polyester fibre, stands out for its use of painted solid ash or solid national walnut wood for both the base and the frame. What’s more, the Bali bed is available with a storage unit, with the removable cover in quilted leather.

Accompanying Bali in the bedroom is Bombay, the precious chest of drawers/trunk  that hides plenty of secrets and surprises inside: a large mirror, an extractable shelf, a watch and jewellery holder, small storage shelves and hooks designed to hang belts and ties in an organised way. Bombay is also available in either painted ash or national walnut wood and it is covered by a sophisticated hide ‘suit’ both inside and out. The fasteners, on the other hand, are made of satin-nickel.
