The comfort afforded by Alivar sofas for the living room 22.05.2017

A place of welcome, getting together and relaxing pleasurably, the living room plays a key role in the design of a private home. It is a space that can be considered to be a genuine calling card reserved for guests and which says everything about the personality and the stylistic taste of its inhabitants, through the choice of furnishings and furniture. The starring role in any living room is without a doubt played by the sofa, a piece of furniture that best conveys feelings of comfort and ‘warmth’ and around which the most important moments of everyday life revolve.

The most sophisticated styling and functional requirements are accommodated in the padded products from the Home Project collection by Alivar which, for the living room, offers solutions that stand out for the use of exclusive top-quality materials, such as the natural leather implemented in the upholstery covers, that is extremely soft to touch and moulds to the shape of every individual.

A symbol of ‘tailored’ perfection, the Tailor sofa is distinguished by clean-cut, linear shapes that enable it to blend in seamlessly with various settings. The large, slightly slanted cushions offer welcoming and comfortable support, thanks to the duck down quilting, a layer of Memory foam, and the polyurethane foam padding around the frame.

The Swing sofa on the other hand is outlined by a game of proportions and fine hides and, owing to its modularity, this model is capable of creating multiple customisable solutions thanks to the introduction of corner modules, a daybed and ottomans. The frame of the Swing model is also made of solid wood and upholstered with polyurethane foam, whereas the cushions are filled with down padding with a layer of Memory foam.

The Swing collection is supplemented by the occasional table, fitted with black nickel or chrome-finish steel and table top in oak-wood or MDF, matt or glossy lacquered.
