Hèritage takes centre stage in Moscow 16.10.2018

Salone del Mobile.Milano Moscow 2018

For the eighth year, Roberto Giovannini confirms his participation at the Salone del Mobile.Milano Moscow, the international venue presenting the furniture industry’s most exciting proposals, with Made in Italy taking a leading role.

For Roberto Giovannini the exhibition space at the Moscow Crocus Expo proves itself an important showcase for continuing the revelation of Hèritage, the collection celebrating 60 years of Roberto Giovannini’s enterprise: the company he founded and to which he lends his name and his soul.

Launched last April at the Salone del Mobile di Milano, the Hèritage collection is born from the wish to breathe new life into the extraordinary styles of an historic period spanning from 17th to early 19th centuries, through the furniture and furnishings which were part of it. These styles have become ‘universal reference points’ for classic furniture and from 1958 have been a source of inspiration for Maestro Roberto Giovannini’s creations.

At the Moscow Trade Fair, in particular, Roberto Giovannini will be revealing new versions of some of the most popular pieces from the Hèritage collection, such as the Soleil bed, which becomes a double bed and the presentation of the new structure of the Savoy sofa with intricate woodcarving: unique and important pieces which express the most genuine passion and the noblest prowess for the art of hand-crafted woodcarving, reinterpreted thanks also to exclusive finishings and precious fabrics.

The evocative interiors recreated in Moscow ‘portray’ three different ways of experiencing authentic luxury in Roberto Giovannini’s style: a double bedroom, a dining room and a living space which presents itself as a ‘natural passage’ between one context and the next, following one another with the desire of enhancing the unique characteristics of the furniture and furnishings displayed in each.

Describing an emotion or conveying a sensation is never simple; Roberto Giovannini recreates   interiors which are extraordinary in being capable of fascinating and transmitting sensations of absolute elegance, comfort and sophisticated wellbeing: one’s state of mind is able to perceive a sense of the project for a contemporary interior enriched and ‘enhanced’ by furniture and furnishings inspired by the aesthetic criteria of the past.

Thus, at the Milano Moscow Furniture Trade Fair Roberto Giovannini once again confirms his ability to exalt the emotions and ignite that particular feeling of amazement and fascination which classic furniture is able to evoke.
