The bathtub continues to play an important role in contemporary bathroom design.
Whether chosen for aesthetic reasons, due to project constraints, or to preserve an existing element, the presence of a bathtub requires solutions capable of ensuring comfort, practicality and formal quality.

With this aim, Duka is expanding its series of bathtub solutions with new configurations for the natura 4000 and multi-S 4000 series, that address different needs through a shared design language defined by functionality, safety and attention to detail.

natura 4000: new sliding door natura 4000 introduces a sliding door designed to extend the series’ aesthetic and performance qualities to spaces where a shower enclosure is not required. It combines elegance, visual lightness and ease of use in a clean, essential design.

The sliding door is distinguished by subtle details such as the integrated shell handle in a slim aluminum profile, the support bar and the rounded upper corner, all of which help define the collection’s identity. The transparency of the glass remains the main feature, enhanced by minimized technical connections and by a structure designed to integrate naturally into the bathroom architecture.

From a functional point of view, natura 4000 features the ACS system – Automatic Close & Stop – which automatically guides the door through the final few centimeters of opening and closing, enhancing everyday comfort. The height-adjustable rollers ensure smooth, precise sliding, while the removable magnetized elements make cleaning easier and help maintain the system’s stability over time.

Extensive customization options complete the offer. The series is in fact available in different finishes for profiles and glass, which can be freely combined. Among the latest additions, Bronze glass stands out: paired with the Pearl colours of the “Color Up Your Life” series, it introduces a warm and sophisticated aesthetic that brings depth and character to the bathroom.

multi-S 4000: the restyling
Alongside natura 4000, Duka also presents new bathtub solutions for the multi-S 4000 series, one of the brand’s longest standing and most versatile lines. Designed to adapt to multiple contexts, from renovations to new builds, as well as contract and hospitality spaces, the series is renewed through a restyling that further refines its aesthetic language.

The project evolves toward greater formal simplicity, with lighter details and a more harmonious visual presence. The hinges, characterized by soft and flowing lines, allow the door to open to 180° outward and are fixed to the glass using the UV Brillant bonding system, a Duka technology that eliminates visible screws and ensures a perfectly smooth internal surface that is easier to clean and more elegant to look at.

The tubular hinge has also been reduced to a minimum to give more space to the glass, while integrating the auto-close system that regulates the opening and closing of the panel. The project is completed by subtle yet functional compensation profiles, capable of adapting to different installation conditions without compromising the overall clean look.

With its new bathtub solutions, Duka confirms an approach focused on the balance between technical innovation, build quality and aesthetic research, offering increasingly flexible solutions for contemporary bathroom design.
