Designed by Alberto Torsello, TU is the natural evolution of Ego, the Abimis kitchen where it all began. Indeed, TU stems from the design expertise of Ego, reinterpreting its aesthetic and functional principles through a more rigorous and contemporary formal language. Bespoke and crafted entirely from stainless steel, TU continues the Abimis tradition of transferring professional kitchen performance into domestic environments, retaining their reliability and precision, while introducing a new stylistic identity characterised by clean-cut silhouettes and surfaces crafted with sartorial precision.

Every kitchen in the line is entirely made to measure, with a bespoke precision that transforms every detail into a unique element. The purity of its shapes defines its identity: rounded flush doors, perfectly integrated into the structure, rounded handles and joint-free stainless steel worktops. A distinctive feature is the completely invisible pivot hinge, patented by Abimis, which requires no adjustment and preserves the clean-cut shapes of the design. The new AlterEgo with onyx doors combines bespoke stainless steel craftsmanship with the precious appeal of natural stone, striking a new balance between design research, material, function and its decorative intent. AlterEgo originated as an extension of the Ego kitchen. It adopts aesthetic codes inspired by 1950s design and translates them into an extra storage system that expands the compositional possibilities of both domestic and contract environments. The AlterEgo doors, now also available in onyx or other natural stones, enrich the collection alongside versions in various wood finishes. All configurations are paired with a structure made entirely of stainless steel, orbitally polished by hand or with a mirror-polished finish for an elegant and customisable result.
