A professional kitchen at high altitudes 09.12.2021

Atelier by Abimis for a mountain hut in Moena

An evocative mountain home, located on the border between the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa, houses an elegant wall version of Atelier in its kitchen, made to measure and with customised materials to satisfy the desire of the owner to have a product able to reflect the style of the entire house, and the surrounding environment, without forfeiting the functionalities and performance of a professional installation.

The mountain hut was completely renovated with the aim of preserving the original architecture and the existing materials and doors and windows, in order to create a pleasant blend of tradition and modernity. The house has maintained the charm, warmth and typical welcome of a chalet, but its rooms reveal all the comforts of a new build.

The distinctive material is light coloured wood, with a contemporary inspiration and Scandinavian hints, whereas the objects, furnishings and some decorative elements that define it are like ‘dictates’ that emphasize its Alpine identity.

The atmosphere in the kitchen is also warm, relaxing and welcoming.

Atelier, with its AISI 304 ‘heart’ and doors covered in fir wood – previously used for the floor and other furnishings – provides aesthetic and functional continuity with the rest of the house.

With its typical squared doors and rigorous and formal design, this version of Atelier includes a work space and a cooking and washing area together on the same top, a configuration that makes it perfectly proportional to the space that houses it. The kitchen is completed by upper steel wall units, which create an interesting mix of materials, shaped to measure in order to adapt to the wall that also houses the fridge.

Thanks to their tailored core and the possibility to be customised, Abimis kitchens bring a unique design and highly professional performance levels to any setting.
