Midwinter 29.09.2020

Ethimo celebrates the coldest of seasons with its new offerings for high-altitude outdoor living.

They develop its vision of the mountain outdoors as a natural space to live in well-designed comfort.

In this conceptual continuum, Ethimo warms up the atmosphere and brings the most sophisticated open-air mountain spaces to the fore with solutions that meet the essential requirements of longevity, quality, and comfort. In turn, these qualities reveal the authentic pleasures of living close to nature, enjoying its charm and harmony all year round.

Gardens in winter, mountain chalets, panoramic terraces, exclusive spas, elegant resorts, charming outdoor seating… Ethimo continues its ‘winter tale’, telling the story of these locations with their traditional vocation for calm, for caring for the body and the mind, and for relaxing conviviality. Reworked versions of its offerings evoke sensations of pure comfort and wellbeing.

Amid the mountain peaks a new selection of its most iconic furniture rediscovers the attraction of design, creating comfortable, protected, and functional spaces.

With fresh textures, fabrics, and weaves to keep the coldest temperatures at bay and preserve their natural beauty over time, the furniture reflects the alpine landscape’s aesthetic, inspiring new openair living experiences – even during the winter.

Rafael, the lounge collection born out of the creativity of Paola Navone, brings its tribal spirit to the mountains, reinventing itself with special fabrics to fit the winter mood and warm and intense nuances. Knitted textures and a soft feel combine with the material appeal of the collection, which once again plays on the link between nature and design to suggest – even in the mountains – an immersive elegance.

Grand Life, designed by Christophe Pillet, is the ideal collection for the most exclusive mountain spa resorts thanks to a tailored style and the generous proportions of its seats and sun loungers.

Alongside Allaperto, whose ‘Mountain’ version was the first line of furniture for high-altitude outdoor spaces, and which grew out of the collaboration between Ethimo and Studio Thun, the new offerings suggest a lifestyle that is refined, meditative, and richly suggestive and inspirational.

They reflect the special, unmistakeable Ethimo Mountain Style.

It is further confirmation from Ethimo of how to fuse indoor and outdoor spaces, with a special focus on the relationship with nature – a focus that informs its vision of open-air spaces as fundamental for our wellbeing.
