The famous Gavi territory is a border area of Piedmont, ‘guarded’ by Liguria and Lombardy, where the ancient Cortese vineyard – from which Gavi DOCG is extracted – originates. Villa Sparina Resort stands here – an elegant eighteenth-century farmhouse completely surrounded by nature and framed by the suggestive Monterotondo vineyards.

The fascinating estate, where everything is meant to ensure the guests’ wellbeing and relax, includes the Ostelliere, a 4-star superior hotel, La Gallina, renown restaurant dedicated to the local cuisine, and the Villa Sparina winery, which every year wins national and international awards.

In order to preserve and at the same time showcase its excellence, the owners of the Resort chose Prisma’s design expertise and creativity to create a stunning wine display.

A perfect blend of design, technology and efficiency, the wine display was entirely tailor-made, respecting the atmosphere and architecture of the context where it is located. Three-metre high and more than four- metre long, the wine display hosts three different-temperature units and it is equipped with heated double glazed doors to avoid the risk of condensation when used at particularly low temperatures. Moreover, it allows the right display and conservation of the bottles, thanks to an elegant tubular structure with a practical concealed hooking system. On the outside, it is made of natural brass finish, which gives the wine display a particularly warm and refined look, thanks to a controlled oxidation process. On the inside, instead, it is made of double mirror champagne-finish stainless steel which, combined with a ‘soft’ and even LED lighting, enhances the bottles on display.

By virtue of an important technical know-how and a great aesthetic sensitivity – developed in a forty-year experience in the professional catering field, hotellerie and hospitality – Prisma has created its own wine display: a functional and high-quality product, meant to integrate effortlessly in any context, whether contract or residential.

The Prisma wine display, with its clean essential lines and contemporary design, thus complements the projects that the company creates on a custom basis, further expanding its offer.

The main distinguishing feature of Prisma wine display is its full-height seamless sides and back. These may be made of steel or entirely of smoked glass, creating the illusion of a glass parallelepiped. Each shelf can ‘accomodate’ up to 42 bottles ( 210 per door). Equipped with intensity-balanced LED lights, the wine display enhances and preserves the product it was designed for. Indeed, it ensures that the set temperature is always evenly maintained.

The Prisma wine display has been designed with the intention of creating an elegant ‘furnishing element’ capable of personalising the environment in which it is places and, at the same time, of developing a high- performance product.
