Kilt, Ribot and Swing 06.04.2021

2021 News

Kilt, the dining armchair whose weave ‘takes its cue from the piece of fabric wrapped around the waists of the proud inhabitants of the Highlands’, designed by Marcello Ziliani for Ethimo, is presented in two new versions to furnish outdoor spaces with personality and create unique settings through the use of colour.

A blend of the elegant and the natural, the Kilt armchair in its Dining and Lounge version combines its distinctive FSC certified teak frame with new hues for its natural rope, reinterpreted in two vivid colours inspired by the warm shades of Mediterranean vegetation.

Its dense weave in Olive Green and Ruby Wine evokes positive moods and good vibes, making Kilt both unique and simply beautiful.

Retaining all the casual elegance and the qualities of solidity, comfort and ergonomics of the Kilt collection, these new options make it possible to enhance any outdoor space.

The natural teak collection created by Ethimo and Marc Sadler, featuring dining chairs, lounge armchairs, footstools, coffee table and extendable table, now stars a tall stool with backrest.

The new Ribot stool has the same solid composition and modern minimalism of the other chairs, with the characteristic delicate forward slant, and also has an essential detail that is both functional and decorative: a stainless steel bar that acts as a comfortable footrest.

Ribot comes in two heights (82 cm and 92 cm), each of which has been designed to suit different uses. The taller version, bar stool, is a high chair created to accompany high tables and counters, whilst the slightly lower version, counter stool, is perfect for pairing with tables, outdoor kitchen islands, or other eating areas with a counter you can either sit or stand at.

The Ribot stool delivers a new experience in comfort that’s all about being together.
