Falmec wins again! The new Spazio, Quantum and Alba models won at the GOOD DESIGN® Awards 2018 17.01.2019
For nearly seventy years, the GOOD DESIGN® Awards – awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design – represent one of the highest international awards attributed to the world of design. Every year, only the most deserving products are selected for innovative approach, concept and design, use of materials, functionality and attention to sustainability.
In this scenario of excellence and commitment to innovation, Falmec shines with this prestigious award with three new models presented at Eurocucina FTK 2018: Spazio, Quantum and Alba, thus confirming the success of the previous edition with Dama, Materia and Oceano hoods.
Welcomed with delight, Spazio now joins a prestigious category in the GOOD DESIGN® Awards. Designed by Francesco Lucchese, Spazio demonstrates how the user can have all the functions required in a busy kitchen. An elegant design consisting of an island structure composed of smoked glass shelves for storing crockery and kitchen utensils, a channel equipped with hooks, USB ports and electrical sockets to recharge electronic devices, and a holder to support a tablet or a book so that you can view all your recipes and information in a safe position.
Uniquely Falmec provides as an optional accessory a small indoor garden for the cultivation of aromatic herbs, with a particular light that stimulates the photosynthesis of plants, thus encouraging their growth.
Spazio is part of the Circle.Tech collection, a patented technology that combines the suction and filtering in a single body, which puts clean filter air back into your kitchen without the loss of internal temperature.
Quantum, instead, is the new system that combines the functions of suction and cooking, all in one body. The induction hob has a central suction unit equipped with flaps that open automatically during operation, and then close at the end and align perfectly to the induction hob. Quantum combines excellent cooking performance, thanks to the Flex Surface technology and 9 cooking levels, high suction efficiency and maximum silence thanks to a 9-level brushless motor.
To conclude the ‘triplet’, the Alba hood, a solution recessed in the ceiling ideal for those who prefer a minimalist and sophisticated style. The protruding frame, made of glass, draws a well- defined transparent line that is illuminated by a LED system that runs through the entire perimeter of the hood when in use. Alba is equipped with perimeter extraction and guarantees excellent functionality and extreme flexibility in installation, thanks to the various options of internal and external motors giving you many options and design solutions.
Three new unique products all individual, confirming Falmec’s dedication into research aimed at offering new solutions, suitable for every style and need, making the domestic home a more cleaner and comfortable environment to live in.
