Ethimo & Hotel Misincu 14.11.2018

Misincu, a wild paradise on Cap Corse, is a hidden treasure surrounded by exceptional heritage, where age old villages and stunning 19th century architecture overlook the sea. This five star hotel is nestled between the fragrant slops of the Mediterranean maquis and the dazzling blue shoreline. Misincu centres around a main building with 32 rooms constructed entirely by local businesses and artisans. Scattered across 28 hectares of beautiful grounds, the 5 villas of the Domaine de Misincu stand surrounded by nature.

Olympe Zographos, architect and interior designer developed the layout, the fixtures and the fittings, conveying tranquillity and authenticity at every turn. In the lobby of the Tra Di Noi restaurant, where guests can enjoy chef Clément Collet’s fine cuisine, as well as in the Misincu’s other relaxation areas, the architect has chosen the Esedra collection by Luca Nichetto for Ethimo, composed of armchairs, sofas with wrap-around backs and coffee tables. A refined collection, the perfect expression of the tranquillity of a day in the open air.

The Mediterranean style and contemporary design of the Esedra collection slot seamlessly into the architecture of this place, where outside and inside become one. The Esedra collection, which combines rope weaving, teak, and aluminium, enhances these spaces, creating a feeling of wellbeing and intimacy right from first glance.

Beside the pool, the Elit sunbeds, in solid teak and fabric, are perfect for relaxing.

The Hotel Misincu project is yet another opportunity for Ethimo to reinterpret local lifestyles while maintaining the quality and excellence that characterise the Italian furniture producer.
