Much has already been said about Rastelli’s latest project, as a kitchen that could tell stories and lifestyles. It is in fact a model, available in different but always customizable versions, able to meet any taste and suit any kind of environment, between contemporary lines, traditional echoes, eastern inspirations, till getting a neo-colonial-styled offer, typical of many american houses.

This version of Fabula looks like a mix between classical and modern elements, both in terms of design and material selection: wooden framed doors with a familiar flavour meet the oak dust warm tones and the matt lacquered siliceous grey, while the geometric and rigorous lines of the cabinets are enhanced by the stainless steel – chosen for the cooking unit and for the tall and wall units’ frames – , and by the basalt stone and marble used for the worktop.

Protagonist of this composition is the large central island, typically used in the american style kitchens. The integrated snack top in E:wood quercia, perfect to have snacks and small meals, increase the functionality of this unit, which is already equipped with spacious compartments.

By using the heights, the wall cabinets and columns with metal framed glass doors optimize the distribution of objects, kitchen utensils and dishes, giving also a more contemporary touch to the environment; the sink, made of a basaltine stone, in brushed open pore, looks like an elegant aesthetic solution that ensures continuity with the worktop.

Once again, and also in this version, Fabula is mainly characterised by its designer’s ability, Ulisse Narcisi, to strike the right balance between different elements, almost opposite, always suggesting the echo and emotion of family traditions from remote countries.
