Cattelan Italia presents its new dining tables

BILBAO
A table that conveys the strength and raw materiality of concrete.
Design: Tosca Design

To create the new Bilbao table, Cattelan Italia drew inspiration from the city it is named after, a global symbol of urban regeneration, and from Brutalism, the architectural movement characterized by solid volumes expressed through the strength of form and material.

This inspiration is transposed into the design of the concrete table base, composed of four cylindrical elements with a crescent cross-section that evoke architectural silos. The legs are connected by a central metal crosspiece, which ensures the table’s structural balance.

The solidity of the material interacts with an exploration of gentle curves and smooth transitions, allowing the eye to move freely between the solid surfaces of the concrete legs and the metal framework that runs through the center of the table with technical precision, before extending outward in a curve that embraces the shapes of the base.

SENATOR KERAMIK MAGNUM
The Senator family grows The six-metre long Magnum version joins the catalogue
Design: Paolo Cattelan

2026 marks another milestone for Cattelan Italia, as the brand pushes the boundaries of design with an unprecedented version of the Senator Keramik Magnum stretching six metres in length.

The top, developed in an elongated and irregular elliptical shape, extends through space as a vast, textured surface in which veining and colour nuances interweave naturally. The juxtaposition of materials spontaneously creates a dynamic, almost pictorial composition, enhanced by a solid wood inset: an elegant joint that breaks the continuity of the ceramic top, accentuating the depth of the material and transforming the table into a visually commanding centrepiece.

Supporting this imposing surface is an equally scenic base: for the six-metre table, the Senator base module is repeated five times and rotated, creating a striking interplay of light and shadow.

SKORPIO MARBLE
Cattelan Italia expands the Skorpio collection with a new proposal in Lepanto Red marble Design: A. Lucatello & P. Cattelan

The Skorpio table by Cattelan Italia is enriched with a new material and formal proposition through Skorpio Marble. The model now enters the catalogue with a marble top in the polished Lepanto Red finish and a new shaped form that enhances the aesthetics of the surfaces and their dialogue with the sculptural base.

The choice of Lepanto Red marble, a surface with exceptional material expressiveness, constitutes a strategic expansion of the offer: on the one hand, it strengthens the product’s positioning; on the other hand, it responds to a growing demand for natural surfaces in contemporary interiors. The Lepanto finish reflects the evolution of Cattelan Italia’s expressive language towards bolder aesthetic statements: this red shade in fact accentuates the natural beauty and veining of the stone, elevating its chromatic depth.
