The work triangle by ARAN Cucine 29.01.2026

Behind every functional and welcoming living space lies a place for storytelling and human connection.
Entering an ARAN kitchen means immersing oneself in an evolved design philosophy that places creative intelligence at its core. Every gesture becomes instinctive: opening the refrigerator to retrieve ingredients, taking a single step toward the sink, setting everything down on the worktop beside the induction hob.
It is a design approach that anticipates movement, as if the space intuitively understood what the user wishes to do.

This is the foundation of the operational triangle conceived by ARAN Cucine. Intelligent workflows take shape within the three most common configurations: linear, peninsula, and island. Oasi, designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti for ARAN Cucine, becomes—especially in its wall- mounted version—the ideal backdrop for a daily life made of intimate, spontaneous interactions. Suitable even for compact living areas, Oasi features a streamlined wall unit enhanced by smooth oxidized or fossil wood doors. Its uniqueness is defined by the natural element placed between the washing area and the cooking zone, transforming the kitchen into a small, balanced domestic ecosystem.

In the expanded Penelope system, the fully equipped island—complete with cooking, washing, and preparation areas—becomes the focal point of the work triangle.
The matte Blu Berta Ker HPL worktop and base units meet the contrasting snack counter in Rovere Rubra Alevè HPL, creating a dynamic composition of offset volumes. The slightly lower height and fluid form of the snack counter encourage interaction and introduce a design language oriented toward social connection within the domestic setting.

An efficient design of the work triangle and workflow allows the daily rhythm to slow down, enabling a more serene experience of the kitchen—one aligned with oneself and with those who share the space.
Reducing unnecessary movements helps simplify everyday tasks: cooking, cleaning, organizing, and making room for what truly matters—the joy of feeling at home.
