A journey into beauty 17.11.2025
Ethimo presents its 2026 collection
New collection, new catalogue, new journey. Ethimo stories of outdoor living continue with an exciting new encounter between architecture and nature, where design turns into an aesthetic experience and the landscape becomes an extraordinary space to enjoy every day.
Like the other travel diaries, the 2026 catalogue marks a new stage along an inspirational path guided by a desire to capture the essence of a place and transform it into a ‘living set’ for design. A path that moves through horizons, cultures, and lifestyles, embracing moods, thoughts, and traditions, to present Ethimo collections in contexts that reflect an inner soul suggestive of new ways of sharing and living outdoors, in a constant, enjoyable balance with the setting.
This time, the journey takes us to Pantelleria, an unspoilt island destination, where primordial meets Mediterranean and the contemporary elegance of Ethimo furnishings. Page after page, the catalogue becomes a visual story, interweaving the language of nature with that of architecture.
A storytelling that features Ethimo outdoor decor as an invitation to fully and freely enjoy outdoor living, to think of outdoor spaces as personal experiences to enjoy with all the senses.
The 2026 catalogue also has a new look and is now a book to browse and keep as a source of inspiration that fires the imagination for furnishing open-air rooms.
Architectural Nature
This is the eloquent concept behind the new catalogue. An image that comes alive in the extraordinary setting of Pantelleria, chosen by Ethimo to interpret its idea of outdoor living and present the new entries in the 2026 collection.
Here, where people are guests of a nature that dominates thanks to its intensity and character, balanced, respectful, harmonious integration of the furniture expresses an idea of outdoor living that is refined and spontaneous yet also contemporary and rooted in this natural setting, revealing a deep bond between shape, colour, texture, material, and the local essence.
Wind-blown and sun-kissed, ancestral and present, Pantelleria is a ‘mosaic’ of contrasts that blend in a single cohesion. The typical architecture of the dammusi, with their simple, harmonious shapes, forged by wind and time, tells of the link between construction and territory, function and beauty. In the same way, the garden on Pantelleria shows how a farming space can go from functional to an expression of culture, a perfectly proportioned, quietly fascinating haven.
The Lodge lounge collection, designed by Christophe Pillet, the Seeds line of benches and tables by Cristina Celestino, the Teodora armchair, Tama side tables by Valerio Sommella and the Noon tables, together with the new products added to the collections Baia (Christophe Pillet), Kilt (Marcello Ziliani), Patio (Studio Zanellato/Bortotto), and Venexia (Luca Nichetto) ease into this setting, renewing the concept of outdoor living thanks to understated aesthetics and a quality perceived but never showy.
Lodge, the main collection, is a typical example of harmonious dialogue between design and setting: simple in material and lines, yet sophisticated in its manufacture, attention to detail and comfort, it embodies a refined, timeless elegance that reflects the spirit of this island. The collection stands out for its balanced use of resistant fabrics, natural surfaces, and proportions designed to create relaxing cosy spaces, each and every element an invitation to simply unwind and take it easy.
The 2026 catalogue features the sea back in a leading role, with spectacular cliffs and the wild coast of Pantelleria as a natural backdrop that presents, in particular, new products from the Baia line, the first Ethimo collection created with Christophe Pillet and conceived for seaside living.
Like Ulysses in The Odyssey, Ethimo explores Pantelleria, transforming its scenery into a dimension of wellbeing, beauty, and harmony. With Architectural Nature, Ethimo writes a new chapter in
the story of its creative evolution, turning the relationship between design and environment into real conscious dialogue. Each piece of furniture finds equilibrium in nature and embraces more vibrant, contemporary, sustainable outdoor living. This vision sees design as not just the shape of things, but a place, experience, and culture.
