KnIndustrie serving the kitchen 02.09.2025

Autumn-flavoured dishes made with the right cooking tools

Casserole, saucepan or wok? The choice of the perfect pot is usually based on the most suitable size and shape to best contain the food to be cooked, but other aspects that could be decisive to the success of a dish are often underestimated. KnIndustrie offers specific cooking tools for each recipe, enhancing ingredients and flavours.

Materials play an important role, especially when it comes to special and long cooking times, such as for the preparation of time-consuming recipes, to be enjoyed when the season becomes cooler. Autumn evenings make us rediscover the pleasure of spending more time with family and friends, in a country house, sitting around a table to enjoy the scents and flavours that this season offers.

For long cooking
Cooking food in clay is perhaps among the oldest culinary methods. This tradition is now also applied in the contemporary kitchen with crock pots that replicate the same features of preparation in clay. knIndustrie, in collaboration with the architecture and design studio Q-Bic & Brizzi+Riefenstahl, presents with Crete a collection of three crock pots for cooking without fat and without seasoning, ideal for dishes that require long cooking times, without sudden changes in temperature.

Inspired by the typical North African pot, the Tajine by Rodolfo Dordoni is ideal for cooking at low temperatures and extended times. The ease of use, given by the excellent thermal conductivity of aluminium, is further enhanced by the non-stick treatment in dark brown colour.

The perfect risotto
There is no lack of purpose-built accessories in special shapes, colours and materials. Like The Rice, the copper casserole designated to cook rice: as an excellent conductor of heat, copper is ideal for toasting, cooking and whipping risotto.

The small saucepans
Even for the preparation of sauces, KnIndustrie has the right tool. This is The Saucepan, by Lara Caffi, made of yellow painted steel with a wengè handle. The special internal ceramic coating prevents the sauce from sticking to the bottom.

The transparent milk kettle The Kettle is a miniature of the iconic The Glass Pot, still in borosilicate glass with a steel handle and designed by Lara Caffi. An object with an unmistakable style that can also be used as a milk jug for table service.
