Mo.1950 signs the interior design project for an apartment in Via Compagnoni 12, Milan 24.07.2025

Within the prestigious residential complex Compagnoni 12, designed by the architectural firm ARASSOCIATI in Milan, stands the interior design project signed by Mo.1950.
The design process began with the architectural planning of the interior spaces, overseen by Architect Carmen Ferrara, who led the redefinition of the apartment’s layout in collaboration with Architect Niklas Knap for the lighting design. Already in this initial phase, Mo.1950, multifaceted company specialized in residential contract, interior design, and tailor-made furnishing solutions, contributed by developing the interior concept and overseeing the custom creation of the boiserie, in collaboration with Olivieri, technical partner of the project, and Architect Daniela Mazzoleri, project’s lead for Mo.1950.
These surfaces, conceived as an integral part of the domestic architecture, run through the various rooms of the apartment, defining its material and chromatic language. Integrated within them are custom storage systems, including concealed elements, hidden equipped walls, and technical compartments, entirely bespoke, with highly customized finishes selected in collaboration with the client.
In addition to the boiserie system, Mo.1950 also designed a custom solution for the bathroom furnishings, planning the interior elements to integrate the space as an organic and essential component of the living environment. The combinations of materials and finishes, conceived to engage in dialogue with one another, create continuity across the various areas of the home: from the kitchen (Cesar) to the living area, and through to the bedrooms and bathrooms (Rexa). Light plays a fundamental role in expressing the spaces. The lighting fixtures by Lodes, selected in coordination with the architects, are fully integrated into an advanced home automation system, ensuring calibrated and functional lighting that aligns with the project’s essential aesthetic.
The new apartment at Compagnoni 12 is an example of multidisciplinary collaboration, where the interaction and cooperation among designers, architects, and technical partners enabled the realization of a space that expresses a vision of integrated and bespoke design.
With this project, Mo.1950 once again proves to be a sensitive interpreter attuned to the dynamics of contemporary living. Through expertise and experience, the company has successfully embraced complex design requirements, transforming them into a refined and deeply distinctive living environment.
