Lynn: redesigning the difference between chair and armchair
Lynn is the result of a perfect balance between design and craftsmanship: it is an armchair able to combine comfort and elegance. Designed by Marco Acerbis for Turri, with its C-shaped structure, Lynn is an armchair inviting to relax by keeping the functionality of a traditional chair.
Its walnut wood structure supports an upholstered seat available in leather or fabric and enhanced by a leather profile following elegantly its curves.
The backrest shows a C-shaped design and welcomes those who sit into a refined embrace by playing with the materical contrast between the inner fabric and the outer leather. The thin wood legs with metal tips complete the silhouette, details able to add lightness and a contemporary touch.
Lynn is available into different options of covering- fabric or leather- to offer the possibility to customise the seat and adjust it to both home and contract environments.
Nabi, the new chair by Marco Acerbis for Turri
Nabi designed by Marco Acerbis for Turri transforms the sitting experience into a daily moment of reflection about comfort and functionality, key elements for this kind of furniture.
Its game of lines and proportions goes beyond the traditional rules by offering a new experience of relax and lightness both in the dining and living areas.
Nabi’s structure is like an L and its seat and backrest are blended into a unique fluid shape to create a consistency of spaces and surfaces perfectly combined into a natural way. The choice of a simple but well-defined shape is not only a matter of aesthetic: the easy structure and essential design offer a feeling of lightness which invites to sit without invading the surrounding space.
Available into two versions with or without armrests, Nabi adjusts to functionality and style needs. The surface can be covered by leather or fabric, and it reveals the artisanal ability and the heritage of Turri. Nabi’s versatility allows to include it into housing projects as well as in contract spaces like hotels, offices, or restaurants where the quality and the design are essential.
In the leather-covered version, the chair presents a metal zip able to confer modernity and refinement.
The edges are refined through the stickage technique – an artisanal manufacturing which allows an elegant closing of the profiles.
In the fabric-covered version, indeed, the zip on the back is substituted by the leather piping, which follows the whole perimeter of the chair including the seat’s stitching.
