Carpet Edition unveils its new 2024 catalogue 06.11.2024
Three-dimensional effects, unusual shapes, vibrant colours, neutral tones, bold but also minimal designs: Carpet Edition’s new 2024 catalogue offers a wide selection of rugs to compliment any style in both residential and commercial spaces.
Bright orange is the colour that graces the cover of the newest catalogue, a backdrop for clean and linear graphics and a close-up on materials. Inside, page after page of images showcase the beauty of the rugs in different types of spaces and detail shots allow the reader to see materials, colours and designs “up close”.
The catalogue is divided into four collections which all tell different stories, but are interrelated by the thoughtful use of materials and deep know-how on production methods
Hand Made, the first collection in the catalogue, celebrates the craftsmanship of the rugs made exclusively by hand using ancient methods handed down for generations, such as knotting or hand weaving.
The Hand Made collection is followed by Design, a collection dedicated to the synergies which come from intensely creative collaborations between the brand and renowned architects, designers and artists.
In addition to creations by AMDL CIRCLE, Alquati+Corso, Marcante-Testa, PLACèE, Marco Lavit, Serena Confalonieri, Studio Salaris, Stefano Bombardieri, Stormo, Romani Saccani Architetti Associati, Emanuela Garbin and Michela Boglietti, Giulia Ferraris, Roberta Mari and Silvia Z. Pio, LABINAC – Maria Thereza Alves and Eliana Lorena, are rugs and tapestries from the fantastical world of Ken Scott and new in-out door Basket and Deck, designed by Simone Cagnazzo.
In-out door is also the name of the third collection in the new 2024 catalogue: a range of dual function products, designed for external spaces but also perfect for interiors. These rugs are defined by the use of technical materials which can withstand various weather conditions.
Finally, Cut on Demand, the collection of tailor-made rugs produced according to specific client needs. These rugs can be customized in terms of size and shape: starting from a standard border it is possible to adapt or modify the type and colour of the rug, creating a version with unique characteristics.
As in past catalogues, the new volume accompanies the reader on a deeper understanding of the different production methods – manual or mechanical – and of the various materials used in production at Carpet Edition: from natural fibres such as New Zealand Wool, linen or bamboo silk, to technical fibres used in products with exposure to external environments.
