At Clerkenwell Design Week 2023, outdoor living by Ethimo confirms its role as a main player in the Italian culture of design 31.05.2023

At the twelfth edition of one of the most important independent festivals in the world of design, set up to promote excellence, creativity and innovation, Ethimo showcased its outdoor decor trends in a stylish new “natural” setting, in the middle of London design week.

The Garden of the Priory Church at Details in St. John’s Square was the extraordinary open-air location that, in a mood oozing with tradition and British history, presented a refined selection of outdoor solutions, with new articles from the 2023 collection, iconic furnishings, fabrics and upholstered pieces specific for the English market and products that symbolise the pioneering spirit of Ethimo in its exploration of new lifestyles for enjoying a wide variety of outdoor scenarios: like Ace, the first line created with Patrick Norguet for furnishing sports venues, and Costiera and Baia, the first brand new nautical project with Christophe Pillet.

The garden next to the Priory Church proved to be much more than just an exhibition space, allowing visitors to also appreciate the form and function of all the furnishings on show and spend time relaxing in the different installations. In all of them, the outdoor vibe by Ethimo was palpable, embraced by nature.

In designing these open spaces, the main objective was to create functional, comfortable, enjoyable spaces that were still sophisticated in style, in fine noble weather-resistant materials. With this immersive and engaging setting, Ethimo’s aim was to highlight the sensibility and natural ability of its products, the fullest expression of Italian style (&design), to fit harmoniously into different outdoor surroundings and suggest that unmistakable sensation of wellbeing and being at one with nature.
