Abimis for one of the most beautiful villages in Italy 25.01.2023

The Atelier kitchen, in the original burnished finish, decorates a private residence in the heart of Tuscia

A kitchen from the Atelier line has been installed in Civita di Bagnoregio, a picturesque medieval village in the valley of the Calanchi, in a charming residence that reflects the traditional architecture of the place but with modern touches. The kitchen is as always tailored to meet the owners’ needs and customized in terms of finish to make it an interior feature able to enhance the broader context.

The wall-mounted kitchen coexists with the living and dining area, defining a single spacious environment characterized by stone arches, plaster and floors in warm sand and ivory colours, full of original objects, furnishings and fittings that generate a fascinating aesthetic impact, and where all kinds of plants become actual ‘jungle’ decorations.

Atelier, made of AISI 304 stainless steel and with the usual rational, square and essential shape, was requested in the sophisticated burnished finish, a darker colour with a particularly expressive texture, precisely to enhance the style of the entire house. The combination of burnished steel with the charm of stone and the strength of cement creates a special timeless atmosphere and contemporary sophistication.

The kitchen consists of two units, one comprising the cooking area and the oven, complete with top cabinets, and one which houses the washing area and the work space. A column divides the different functions of the kitchen, not only ideally.

The inclusion of an Atelier kitchen in such an unusual interior design is further confirmation of the versatility of the Abimis products which, in addition to adding aesthetic character to rooms, allow the creation of professional compositions and solutions adapted to the different space and positioning needs.
