Alivar coffee tables in the Home Project collection 10.01.2018

The ‘coffee table’ constitutes an indispensable item of furniture, not just in the living room, but also as part of contract settings, such as lounge bars or waiting rooms. ‘Obeying’ its function, the coffee table is usually placed beside a sofa, thereby becoming a small yet significant player in its surrounding setting.

Available in various shapes, sizes and materials, Alivar – with the Home Project collection designed by Giuseppe Bavuso – offers occasional tables for your every need, including the brand new Cyclos coffee tables which always have an astounding effect, whether used individually or in a set. The frame of Cyclos, in solid painted ash-wood or Italian walnut, warms and envelops the top in marble or tempered smoky glass, thus creating a delightful small sculpture devised for extremely different domestic settings to suit a variety of styles and layouts.

Inspired by the ancient musical tradition of the Far East, the T-Gong coffee tables owe their name to the popular percussion instrument. A unique piece of furniture, distinguished by impeccable workmanship on the metal top which recreates concentric reflections across the entire surface and by small satin-finish brass inserts that embellish the top. T-Gong is available in stainless steel with Peltrox finish or in copper-coloured satin-finish steel.

With their triangular shape and rounded corners, the Clover coffee tables constitute a highly unconventional solution. When combined in a set, these different-height coffee tables create games of geometries and an extraordinary visual impact, thanks also to the stylish ‘Terra di Galestro’ finish with its ‘glazed ceramic’ effect, a light-weight material that vibrates in the light in the colours of natural soils.

Three extraordinary solutions, which differ in shape and style, to create a welcoming atmosphere within the living room.
